I know I really haven’t posted anything original in about a week or so…my bad. FIRST DAY OF THE NEW YEAR, WOOP WOOP!
FINALLY got some snow last night, which is great because a Wisconsin winter without snow is completely lame. Fried myself up a post-new year hangover breakfast which was almost entirely bacon, it was awesome. I sat down and got on the computer and there is just this WALL OF FOLLOWERS.

STORY TIME
I got out of the shower after work today, and there’s a huge freaking centipede on the floor and IT REARED UP AND IT WAS LOOKING RIGHT AT ME
After a couple seconds the bugger ran under the bathroom rug and I jumped on it and freaking BOOKED IT to my room, way over on the other side of the apartment. Coolest thing I did this week.

I got yesterday off of work, so I spent most of it bumming around town and giving cookies to my friends while they’re at work and stuff. Even though I don’t really know anyone there, I also stopped by at the coffee place between my apartment and work to drop off some cookies, because my boss and their boss are brothers, so it felt like if I was going to bring some cookies into work...

Hiatus Shmiatus
Crap, I haven’t been on here in over a month. I suppose it’s not much of an excuse, but here’s what’s gone on in the past month or so(in a vague order of occurrence):
-My roommate and I were ejected prematurely from our apartment, mostly because our landlord said so.

I MADE A BUNCH OF COOKIES
My roommates and I are moving to a new apartment at the end of this month, and my method for emptying our shelves was to bake as many cookies as I could using what we had and giving most of them away to friends etc. The end result:
about 30 dozen cookies of 5 varieties baked, nearly emptying our shelves of flour, sugar, peanut butter, and odds and ends spices
most of our cheap plastic containers...
